The Allegheny Ballet Company has been a part of the Central Pennsylvania community for almost 30 years. We've been thrilled to be able to offer dance instruction to children of all ages and want to continue providing that opportunity for many years to come.

ABC wants to challenge the perception that the arts are not always available to everyone. We want to open the door of opportunity to children who have the potential and may be interested in learning dance but who may not be able to afford formal training.

This year, ABC is reaching out to the community to help kids become more involved in this wonderful art through the newly created Chance to Dance Scholarship Program.

Students who have trained with Allegheny Ballet have moved onto successful professional dancing careers. They are working with renowned dance companies in New York City and across the United States. Increasingly, fine arts have become a pathway to higher education. That's why ABC has developed the Chance to Dance Scholarship Program.
